Tim Joslyn, a London-based issuer-processor, has taken over as chief technology officer (CTO) of Paymentology, replacing James Letley, who served as an interim CTO.
Joslyn will oversee the "development and deployment" of new technology solutions for the company's partners and clients, according to Paymentology, in his new role.
Joslyn has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry, having founded and exited several B2B and B2C businesses.
He served as the CTO of Pollinate, a start-up that focused on merchant acquisition, which he co-founded in 2017. During his time there, he led the creation and introduction of NatWest Tyl, the bank's paytech initiative, and managed its tech and product departments.
Joslyn was the chief technology and operations officer of UK-based insurance broker Superscript for over a year before joining Paymentology.
Regarding the company's recent hire, Joslyn's “reputation as a leading technology specialist precedes him, and his wealth of insight and experience is precisely what we need to accelerate our progress,” says Jeff Parker, who was appointed CEO of Paymentology at the end of the previous year.
Established in 2015, Paymentology offers technology for issuing and processing cards to financial institutions, accommodating both virtual and physical card formats.
