A new cooperation between PayPal and UK-based payment orchestration company BR-DGE aims to give businesses more options and flexibility when it comes to online checkout.

Through this partnership, BR-DGE merchants who use PayPal Braintree and PayPal's full payments platform (PPCP) will have access to the newest integration.

What is ahead for BR-DGE and PayPal as partners?

With PayPal's PPCP, companies of all sizes can increase conversion rates by lowering friction at the checkout process and providing customers with a simple and safe option to make payments online or through apps. PayPal's most recent online payment technology is now available to BR-DGE merchants for high-end payment innovations thanks to the new arrangement. Simultaneously, retailers have access to PayPal's extensive range of products and payment methods, which include well-liked choices like PayPal Pay later and Venmo in the US (which will come later in 2024). Merchants can enjoy greater flexibility at checkout and even have the opportunity to pay in installments or at a later time by selecting their chosen payment method.

A third of consumers (32%) said that having a variety of payment options is important when making purchases, according to new BR-DGE study. Customers now value flexibility and the whole purchasing experience more than other factors when selecting a recurring partner in e-commerce, as consumer behaviour in this area continues to shift. In order to provide an exceptional client experience, BR-DGE's scalable checkout solution makes use of PayPal's extensive worldwide expertise in payment acceptance.

Additionally, PayPal's Braintree branch allows customers to select their preferred method of payment at online retailers worldwide. By integrating with BR-DGE, the latter's customer database will have access to all of these advantages as well as millions of merchants in over 200 global markets through a single integration.

The relationship benefits both parties, as PayPal will get access to a network that supports businesses in a variety of sectors, such as travel, retail, leisure, and others, thanks to BR-DGE's preferred market position.

Concerning BR-DGE

The goal of UK-based payment orchestration company BR-DGE is to give merchants back control over an extremely complex and restrictive payments environment. Its ongoing technological investments have enabled a range of offerings that go beyond easily integrated payment orchestration, such as onboarding features, streamlined reporting, and improved authorization rates.
