The US website of Michael Kors is the first to include Shopping Muse, Mastercard's generative AI helper.
The Shopping Muse tool was unveiled towards the end of the previous year. It was created by Dynamic Yield, which Mastercard purchased from McDonald's. The tool's goal is to replicate the in-store human experience by converting customers' informal language into customized product recommendations. This includes suggestions for matching accessories and products.
According to Mastercard, this kind of tailored approach may enhance customer happiness and earn more income; in preliminary testing, Shopping Muse produced a conversion rate that was around 15-20% higher than that of conventional search searches.
