Fintech Aevi has teamed up with Silverflow, a cloud platform for international card processing, to assist acquirers in getting back into the direct payment processing business.

By working together, the two businesses hope to provide banks with a cutting-edge, data-driven processing offering that makes use of an Android-powered in-person payment system. This programme gives banks the ability to serve Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), provide all-in-one smart point-of-sale (POS) devices, and enable stand-alone payments on a worldwide scale inside a single, fully integrated processing platform.

As per the official news release, the alliance provides a flexible payment acceptance infrastructure to enable banks to regain ownership of their merchant offers. This innovative technology offers a forward-thinking way to address changing expectations for digital payments while assisting banks in re-establishing existing merchant connections.

Silverflow representatives discussed the value of cooperation in providing banks with a strong substitute for taking back control of the payment options they give to retailers. To improve banks' payment offers and succeed in the digital payment market, the collaborative solution will leverage a combination of data and speed together with a tested terminal orchestrator.

How this relationship can help regional banks is explained in the official news release. Essentially, the collaborative solution seeks to release them from the limitations of legacy processors, allowing them to develop and be the owners of their acquisition proposals. Aevi officials emphasised the partnership's contribution to the advancement of complete digitization and the removal of obstacles in the payment sector. By making in-person payment processes as transparent and programmable as their online counterparts, the effort hopes to empower customers to create custom checkout flows and fully utilise data.

Additional details regarding the two businesses

With a focus on in-person payment orchestration, Aevi provides innovative payment solutions via an open, worldwide platform that is device-, API-, and solution-independent. Regarding Silverflow, its cloud-based processing technology supports the payments sector by offering a cloud-native payment processing platform with a single API to card networks.

Aevi and US fintech Bleu collaborated in July 2023 to enable Tap-to-Pay for retailers in North America and Europe. Merchants were able to seamlessly and conveniently accept touchless payments on both iOS and Android devices because to this relationship.

Customers would also gain from a quicker and more convenient checkout process. Without requiring complicated interfaces or different systems, Aevi provided businesses with access to a wide range of products and services, including Tap-to-Pay features, through a single integration.
