TeamSystem, an Italian provider of corporate software solutions, has acquired a 61% controlling interest in Change Capital, a fintech company located in Milan that offers SMEs AI-backed credit mediation services.

With the purchase, which is expected to cost an unknown amount, TeamSystem will have access to over 200 financial solutions, including expanded medium-to-long-term credit solutions and a strengthened presence in credit brokerage services.

These features are to be made available to the two million clients that TeamSystem says it provides business management software to in Italy and Spain; these clients are primarily microenterprises and SMEs.

Federico Leproux, CEO of TeamSystem, states in a translated statement that "this operation strengthens our presence in fintech, which has now become a fundamental and distinctive component of our offering." "By joining Change Capital, we are able to expand by adding a new, significant piece."

Change Capital's CEO and co-founder, Francesco Brami, says, "Change Capital continues to grow with renewed support from TeamSystem."

Our goal is to establish ourselves as a prominent player in the fintech industry by offering a comprehensive solution that includes both subsidized financing and credit mediation.Meeting the growing need for access to alternate sources of financing quickly and flexibly," he says.

Change Capital was established in 2009 and has offices in Milan, Brescia, Florence, Arezzo, and Viterbo, Italy. Its CC-Suite integrated digital platform provides a suite of services aimed at democratizing company access to funding.

These include funding investments, buying inventory, invoice monetisation, structured finance alternatives, and instant liquidity. They are backed by AI-powered algorithms that assess financial data and forecast cash flow needs.

The firm states that it handled around 1,000 transactions for more than 500 clients last year, generating a turnover of about €5.5 million.
