S&P Global, a ratings and analytics company, has partnered with Accenture to deliver generative AI training to all 35,000 of its employees.
Starting this month, employees of S&P Global will participate in a "comprehensive" GenAI learning program to acquire the "necessary skills to leverage this transformative technology," according to a statement. The program will make use of the curated and customized material offered by Accenture LearnVantage.
Chief AI officer of S&P Global Bhavesh Dayalji states: "We at S&P Global want to empower our people and our customers to adopt, build, and innovate with gen AI. AI is for everyone." The financial services sector will continue to change as a result of Gen AI, improving both our daily tasks and client relationships."
S&P and Accenture will collaborate on AI development and benchmarking throughout the financial services sector as part of this agreement. Through this partnership, S&P AI Benchmarks and Accenture's Foundation Model Services—which assist businesses in managing and scaling big language models—will be combined.
In the financial services sector, artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly become essential. Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JPMorgan, compared the introduction of this technology to the advancements made in the printing press and steam engine in a letter to shareholders dated April 1.
According to a recent FintechOS study, over 75% of financial services executives anticipate that GenAI will someday replace them.
