According to Finextra, merchants may now take American Express cards for eCommerce purchases via Revolut Gateway, Payment Links, and Tap to Pay on iPhone. Later this year, more in-person payment options are anticipated.

By joining Revolut Business merchants in reaching high-spending, premium Amex clients, American Express hopes to promote the expansion of its merchant network in the UK while also increasing the potential customer base of its partner merchants.
