The brokerage-as-a-service platform lemon.markets, located in Berlin, has launched in collaboration with Tradegate, BNP Paribas, and Deutsche Bank.
The startup is now prepared to offer its white-label solution to FS providers and fintechs, providing them with the operational, technological, and regulatory infrastructure for processing securities transactions via an investment API. In January, the startup obtained a license as an investment firm from German regulator BaFin.
As the custodian, BNPL Paribas handles all transaction processing, with Deutsche Bank handling payments between lemon.markets and its customers. Investors will have access to a variety of financial instruments through Tradegate Exchange in the interim.
Beatvest has been the first client to use lemon.markets to provide ETF investing to its clientele.
According to Max Linden, CEO of lemon.markets, "Our strong customer-centric approach enables our partners to offer existing investment solutions more efficiently as well as to introduce new investment products to their customers."
