JCB International and The Bicester Collection Expand Their European Payment Collaboration

JCB, a global payments brand, and Value Retail, the owner of The Bicester Collection, have expanded their collaboration to eight upscale European shopping locations.

This extension, which builds on the success of their first partnership, intends to take advantage of the expanding trends in international travel and offer fresh prospects for growth.

The agreement, which began in April 2019, has greatly increased JCB Card acceptance throughout The Bicester Collection, leading to a 51% increase in JCB Cardmember spending year over year.

The collaboration
Leading Japanese issuer and acquirer of credit cards, JCB is a well-known worldwide payments brand. The partnership will provide JCB Cardmembers with more exclusive promotions and savings in addition to greater acceptance opportunities.
 

A spike in spending by JCB Cardmembers from the Asia-Pacific region, especially from high-spending nations and territories like Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and South Korea, is anticipated to be advantageous for Luxury Village brand partners. Furthermore, developing economies like Bahrain, Vietnam, Laos, India, and Vietnam—where consumer spending is on the rise—present firms with exciting chances to generate new revenue.
