Hero, the virtual shopping platform that Klarna purchased in 2021, is being sold by the company to video commerce company Bambuser for approximately EUR 1.3 million.
Through text, chat, and video, Hero's virtual shopping platform links millions of customers with product specialists straight from an online retailer. Global companies including Levi, rag & bone, Chloé, and Harvey Nichols are among Hero's clientele.
With the intention of giving customers the finest online shopping experience possible, Klarna promised to introduce Hero to its 250,000 retail partners when it acquired the company three years ago.
The firm is currently being transferred to Bambuser, a Stockholm-based company, which is due to close in May. Bambuser is acquiring a recently founded UK company to hold the Hero assets.
Maryam Ghahremani, CEO of Bambuser, states that the acquisition of the Hero solution perfectly aligns with their vision. This vision aims to create the ultimate, high-converting shopping experience by blending the convenience of online shopping with the personal touch of in-store interactions.
