With the recent introduction of Neonomics open banking enabled Checkout as the only payment option for its 3 million end customers, Digipost—the official digital mailbox for Norway—has made it possible for individuals all throughout the country to pay their bills more quickly and easily through the Digipost app.
After sending millions of invoices, Digipost has determined that providing safe and quick payment experiences is a crucial advantage for users. The two businesses have a long history of working together, with Digipost being one of the first to use Neonomics' open banking services. Digipost has now released a payment experience that is entirely powered by open banking, following rigorous testing. They can now provide end customers with safe payment experiences across the nation thanks to Neonomics Checkout solution and industry-leading bank coverage.
"We have worked closely with Neonomics to deliver a solution that is as user-friendly as it is cost-effective, enabling users to pay and manage their payments within our app," stated Thomas Mathisen, SVP of Digipost, in remarks about the partnership. Our top goal is to improve user experience, and we're constantly searching for new methods to benefit our users. We think that both senders and recipients will gain from the updated and improved payment system.
Digital mailboxes are a common means of formal communication between citizens and governmental entities, including local governments or the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration, throughout the Nordic region. More than 25,000 commercial companies and governmental organizations use Digipost
CEO of Neonomics Christoffer Andvig commented on the ongoing developments with Digipost, saying, "Digital mailbox offerings are expanding across the Nordics, with a concentration on strengthening user experiences." We are excited about our ongoing collaboration with Digipost and supporting their objective to empower both businesses and individuals by improving the ease they offer through safe digital communication channels.
