Leading company in data detection and response (DDR), Cyberhaven, has secured $88 million in its Series C fundraising round.
Leading the investment were Khosla Ventures and Adams Street Partners, LLC. Other notable investors who made significant commitments were Redpoint Ventures, Costanoa Ventures, Vertex Ventures, Crane Venture Partners, and Wing Venture Capital.
Prominent security specialists including Ash Devata, Gerhard Eschelbeck, and Amol Kulkarni also contributed to this round.
The investment highlights Cyberhaven's exceptional year, which was distinguished by a 200% rise in new reservations.
Cyberhaven is a leading provider of intellectual property protection, something that traditional DLP, insider risk, and data security posture management (DSPM) systems frequently fail to notice. Important information including source code, product designs, and client records are included in this. The company's cutting-edge AI model and data lineage technologies are made to understand the context of the material in addition to identifying it, allowing for exact categorization and preservation of sensitive data.
"We are thrilled to welcome Adams Street and Khosla Ventures to our mission of protecting the world's top innovators, who are increasingly dependent on AI and data," said Howard Ting, CEO of Cyberhaven.
"We're only getting started, but our ground-breaking data lineage technology has increased the efficacy of our clients' insider risk and DLP programs. We will be able to quickly develop the DDR category and our platform with the help of this money.
Cyberhaven intends to use the additional funding to broaden its line of products, improve its market share, and keep protecting the most private information on the planet.
"Cyberhaven is addressing some of the most pressing challenges in data security today, particularly protecting IP from insider threats," stated Fred Wang of Adams Street, a recent addition to the company's board of directors.
"Their cutting-edge method of tracing the genealogy of data and using AI to comprehend data and danger is revolutionary. We are thrilled to support Cyberhaven's ongoing development and innovation since we think they are revolutionizing the industry.
