The creative fintech company Ryft, located in Manchester, has announced a new alliance with Clearhaus that will enable the Danish buyer to take advantage of its technological solutions and serve online marketplaces and platforms.

With Ryft as a partner, Clearhaus will be able to better serve the constantly expanding European digital business community, which consists of 3,000 marketplaces and over 23,000 underutilized digital platforms searching for a compliant method to monetize transactions without the present entry barriers. Traditionally, extensive licenses, specialized teams, and considerable expense are needed to implement technology that helps merchants monetarily. These companies will be able to execute PSD2 compliant transactions through their partnership with Ryft, profiting from the transactions that pass through their platforms and creating new revenue streams to support their growth.

As part of the agreement, Clearhaus will be able to expand into the UK market without having to seek its own license in light of the post-Brexit constraints thanks to Ryft's gold grade FCA licence. Ryft has developed an ideal solution for UK businesses, which can benefit Clearhaus, thanks to its extensive understanding of the UK market gained through collaborations with brands like easyFood, which is a part of the easyJet group. Clearhaus, a technologically advanced bank, chose to collaborate with Ryft because of the latter's customer-focused offering and the mutually beneficial nature of their relationship.

"We've been working closely with the Clearhaus team over the last year to bring an exciting payments proposition to the market together, which we're delighted to have finally launched," stated Sadra Hosseini, CEO and co-founder of Ryft, in reference to the partnership. The core values of Ryft and Clearhaus are similar in that they both prioritize delivering the greatest technology available while moving quickly and anticipating customer needs. We can't wait for this collaboration to develop further and for Ryft to expand throughout Europe with Clearhaus' assistance.

In terms of Ryft's plans to scale throughout Europe, this relationship with Clearhaus is a big step that will help it compete with other alternative payment providers like Adyen and Stripe Connect. In a market that is changing swiftly, Ryft also gives banks the opportunity to support merchant growth by providing a technological layer that they may exploit. Clearhaus is leading the way in demonstrating to banks the value of supporting the digital business community as the first banking partner to work with Ryft.

Djoek Derksen, Senior International Partner Manager at Clearhaus, commented on the alliance, saying, "We're thrilled about the expansion of our partner portfolio through the new collaboration with Ryft, a specialist in platform payments." Through this partnership, we will be able to provide our customers with a more competitive, modern platform payment option. When coupled with our broad support for currencies, this solution is ideal for retailers throughout Europe. In collaboration with Ryft, we hope to offer a smooth payment experience by bringing our quick onboarding times.
