BVNK, a stablecoin payments provider, has launched US dollar payments over Swift, making its stablecoin services available to businesses worldwide.
The stablecoin supplier, BVNK, has added Swift payments to its network. Businesses will be allowed to use BVNK's stablecoin services as a result, making it simple for them to convert between US dollars, euros, and stablecoins like PYUSD, USDT, and USDC.
BVNK clients may now finish transactions with overseas partners and use proven, efficient worldwide settlements thanks to the new capabilities that Swift offers. Its collaboration with Swift comes after PayPal USD was integrated into its platform to increase the uptake of stablecoins.
Swift: Providing BVNK clients with more efficiency
For instance, US dollars or euros may be sent to the BVNK platform, where they can be converted to stablecoins and used to make almost instantaneous payments to partners and clients. Fintechs who are seeing a surge in demand to move money more quickly internationally can also take use of this feature.
Other FX trading platforms who collaborate with BVNK can receive cash in stablecoins from regional payment providers and instantly convert them to USD before transferring them to their own bank accounts. This is possible thanks to their extensive worldwide client bases.
Now, everything may be finished on the BVNK platform. Through BVNK's cryptocurrency payments gateway, businesses may also take stablecoins in foreign markets. Funds can be instantly converted to USD or EUR and sent to bank accounts via Swift.
Maxim Ivanov, Director of Product and Core Banking at BVNK, comments on this most recent collaboration, saying: "We know that modern businesses want financial flexibility so they can work in the most capital-efficient way."
"They want to transfer money more quickly, for less money, and with less risk. We allow this for our customers by combining blockchain and bank payment rails and currencies into a single platform.
"With the addition of USD and EUR via Swift, our customers can truly utilize stablecoins to expedite their money transfers, regardless of their location – and they can effortlessly convert back into fiat currencies when and when necessary."
Businesses may use BVNK's platform to access 15 fiat currencies, all of the top stablecoins, and 14 of the most well-liked digital currencies.
A top FX trading platform's head of payments continues, saying, "As a global company, we work with numerous PSPs across various regions and currencies." The need for quick and easy transactions is growing, and stablecoin settlement from our PSPs is becoming crucial.
"Thank goodness, BVNK intervened and offered us a smooth way to acquire stablecoins, exchange them for USD (our main currency), and send money straight to our bank accounts using Swift.
"BVNK provides the ideal route from our PSPs to our banks, which helps us save a significant amount of time and money. We no longer have to worry about onboarding PSPs since we always have a dependable means to settle with BVNK.
The collaboration between BVNK and Swift is a significant turning point in the company's remarkable development trajectory.
In 2023, the firm activated its UK EMI license. A new European EMI license was then activated in early 2024.
Along with plans to expand its staff, BVNK also purchased System Pay Services last year after raising US$40 million in a Series A fundraising round headed by Tiger Global.
Swift's collaboration with BVNK is a component of its endeavors to enhance worldwide backing for virtual currencies. It connected the global rise of CBDC platforms in March by announcing the planned introduction of a new platform within the next two years.
