Neobank Bunq, a Dutch company, has launched a travel insurance product and enhanced its GenAI assistant Finn to a "fully conversational" state.
Finn was unveiled at the end of last year and allows users to ask questions or get advice about everything linked to money, including bank account, spending, saving, and other financial-related topics. Finn replaces the search function on the Bunq app.
Over 100,000 issues have now been addressed by the assistant, who can now independently resolve up to 40% of customer support inquiries while helping with 75% of them.
With the update, Finn can now respond to queries in succession and offer more in-depth financial insights at twice the pace, guaranteeing customized, context-rich responses.
In addition to answering queries about bank accounts and spending patterns, the assistant will suggest cafes, restaurants, and bars for customers to check out in new cities based on ratings left by other Bunq members.
In a different move, bunq has partnered with integrated insurance company Qover in an effort to expand the range of products it offers to global digital nomads.
Bunq is designed to address the difficulties that travelers encounter while having to repurchase insurance for each trip. It provides automatic global coverage to all users of the Easy Bank Pro XL plan. To ensure coverage for all upcoming excursions, users activate feature number one. By using the Qover link in the app, insurance claims can be submitted.
