In order to jointly drive digital payments modernization for banks, fintechs, and merchants throughout the Middle East and Africa, ACI Worldwide, the provider of real-time payments software, has partnered with Arab Financial Services (AFS), the region's provider of digital payment solutions and fintech enabler.
AFS and ACI Worldwide Enterprise Payments Platform have a 10-year strategic partnership. AFS will use the ACI Worldwide Enterprise Payments Platform, which is a single platform for processing payments of all kinds and is supported by state-of-the-art security, cloud-ready technology that is flexible, and multi-language, multi-currency, multi-institution capabilities, to drive the modernization of retail banking for its banking and fintech clients.
Over 60 clients across the Middle East and Africa are served by AFS, which is owned by 37 banks and financial institutions and is governed by the Central Bank of Bahrain.
