The revolutionary credit-building software Altro has announced a major expansion, taking its services to 47 states in the United States.
A strategic $4 million funding round, including contributions from well-known individuals like Tinashe and Chris Paul, is driving this expansion. Hatch Bank facilitates and the Discover® Global Network supports Altro's services.
Altro was established in 2019 with the goal of empowering people financially, regardless of their credit past. The app, which was once only available in 10 states, has now expanded to 47 states, which is a major step toward its mission of democratizing credit-building. The software also highlights Altro: Culture & Finance, its most recent edition, which incorporates a greater variety of tools to assist users in navigating different facets of their financial journey. Through networking possibilities, financial education, and access to discussions on culture and finance, Altro's membership model aims to improve financial literacy.
The recently raised money will be used for a number of important initiatives, such as the introduction of the Altro Credit Builder Card and the most recent iteration of the app, which will promote an equitable financial ecosystem. Available to Premium subscribers without requiring credit approval, the Credit Builder Card is made especially for digital and streaming subscriptions, helping people who are either credit-phobic or trying to improve their credit standing.
Michael Broughton, the founder and CEO of Altro, stated, "Altro's partnership with Discover Global Network along with our expansion into 47 states marks a pivotal step towards our goal of democratizing credit-building for all." "Our goal is to completely transform the credit landscape and reinterpret who can access credit as well as the essence of financial empowerment."
Entrepreneur and NBA All-Star Chris Paul expressed his excitement for the collaboration while emphasizing the significance of developing fair financial solutions. "Fiscal stability solutions are critical to leveling the playing field for those who have frequently been left behind," he stated. "I'm thrilled to collaborate with Altro to develop a solution."
With $22 million raised thus far, Altro has demonstrated a strong endorsement from the investing world for its creative approach to financial empowerment and inclusion.
