The cloud-native wealth management infrastructure platform provider WealthOS has revealed that its £4 million seed round has closed successfully.

Barclays Bank spearheaded the fundraising round, while Main Set, a division of global investment group Capricorn Capital Partners UK, contributed additional funds.

The investment comprises the £2 million raised during the final close, which is an addition to the £2 million that was invested in late 2023 by Barclays and other prominent FinTech investors, including Chris Adelsbach, Mike O'Brien, John Donohoe, and John Herlihy.

WealthOS specializes in creating cutting-edge wealth management solutions that enable businesses to swiftly and affordably provide clients with omni-channel wealth management products. With the additional capital, the business plans to expand its organization, enhance distribution, and enhance platform development in order to sustain a robust clientele.

WealthOS intends to use the funding to broaden its customer base and advance its technology capabilities in order to fulfill the increasing demand for digital wealth management solutions.

"I couldn't have asked for a better group of investors – all of them have been incredible cheerleaders for our mission to modernize the wealthtech space," said Anton Padmasiri, CEO and creator of WealthOS. I can't wait to show the industry how we will make it possible for businesses to provide amazing, omni-channel wealth management products to customers while also doing it quickly and affordably.

We're glad to have invested in WealthOS early on in their journey, stated Barclays co-head of primary investments Andrew Challis. They have a strong workforce and have made good use of the investment to generate early profits.

"Our continued partnership with WealthOS illustrates our dedication to the prospects that emerge from our Rise Growth Academy and is consistent with Barclays' Innovation Thesis," he continued. WealthOS is a compelling offering within the digital wealth management domain. I'm excited to watch their future endeavors succeed, mark new accomplishments, and see our investment pay off.

The first and only cloud-native and API retail pensions (SIPP) platform in the UK was released by WealthOS, and this financing announcement comes after that. Furthermore, Quai Digital has selected WealthOS as a new key technology partner. Quai Digital, a well-known supplier of white-label outsourcing services for B2B wealth management, plans to combine its proprietary platform with WealthOS's modular software. Through the provision of scalable, feature-rich digital financial capabilities to Quai Digital's clientele, this cooperation seeks to promote growth.
