With help from MGA Accelerator DA Strategy and backing from Dale Underwriting Partners' Lloyd's Syndicate 1729, Volt Underwriting has been debuted as an authorized coverholder.

The introduction is a reaction to the industry's increasing need for insurance solutions related to energy transformation.

Companies operating in this sector need specialized coverage to handle the particular risks associated with both conventional and renewable energy projects as efforts to switch to renewable energy become more widespread.

Volt Underwriting's primary goal is to offer businesses in the energy industry all-inclusive insurance coverage. With plans for major expansion in the upcoming months, the company is now offering $25 million in capacity for onshore electricity and renewable energy risks in the US and abroad.

The new coverholder is especially made to meet the complicated requirements of customers who work in the fields of renewable energy and conventional electricity. At the upcoming renewal term, which begins on January 1, 2025, Volt Underwriting's coverage will be greatly expanded, enabling the firm to have a bigger effect in this quickly changing industry.

Three seasoned professionals from the business—Chief Operating Officer Kevin Cleary, Chief Underwriting Officer Andrew Tokley, and Chief Executive Officer Chris Allison—co-founded Volt Underwriting.

With more than 75 years of combined experience in insurance management and energy underwriting, the team offers customers unrivaled knowledge and customized solutions for challenging energy risks. Volt's position in the market has been further strengthened by the backing of BP Marsh, a well-known investor.

"We are thrilled to introduce Volt UW, an energy transition MGA with best-in-class underwriters to the market," stated Kaj Pankhania, director of DA Strategy MGA. To guarantee that the team was up and operating quickly, legally, and with scale built into its foundations, it took intense cooperation and unwavering focus from all stakeholders involved in this lightning-fast launch. We have no doubt that the knowledgeable Volt UW team will have a significant influence on introducing innovation to the energy sector and assisting the world's shift to renewable energy sources, as they are already making ripples in the market.

Chris Allison, CEO of Volt Underwriting, continued, "We are excited to introduce power and renewable energy as the first of those products. Volt was founded to provide multi-class solutions to customers in the energy sector. Working with Dale as the primary capacity partner excites us. We offer a compelling proposal to the market as a team.
