Adi Kadle, a former executive director of JP Morgan, has become the new director of engineering for UK digital bank Tandem.
After spending 14 years at JP Morgan, where he started as vice president of information technology and rose to executive director of information technology in 2015, he is now joining the digital bank.
In the latter role, Kadle oversaw technology for JP Morgan's foreign exchange (FX) and over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives businesses, which together settle more than a million deals for customers valued at $650 billion per day.
Before that, Kadle worked on the equities and fixed income trading desks for Morgan Stanley in Asia and EMEA for more than seven years as a vice president.
Kadle claims he will "assist lead our journey in transforming our omni-channel strategy, including our app and website" in a LinkedIn post announcing his most recent job.
Tandem has also appointed Catherine Diamond as chief people officer, Darvish Heshejin as director of strategic growth, and Marriam Malik as general counsel and corporate secretary in addition to Kadle.
Steve Peacock, the chief internal audit officer of the digital bank, is transitioning to the recently established position of director of internal controls and customer outcomes.
Tandem's CEO, Alex Mollart, characterizes the recent employment boom as "another great step in the development of Tandem."
In other news this year, the digital bank hired Suavek Zajac, a former Railsr executive, as its new CTO in May after welcoming Maria Khan, also formerly of JP Morgan, as its new director of product and digital in January.
