In order to reach the highest possible transaction rate per second, the BSVA has begun technical testing of Teranode over the coming months.
The BSV Association (BSVA) has been striving for a "watershed upgrade" in the blockchain arena since 2018. This improvement is known as Teranode.
According to reports, Teranode will help Bitcoin reach its full potential by enabling the BSV Blockchain to process more than 1.1 million transactions per second (TPS).
The BSVA has now started Teranode technical testing over the next few months in an effort to advance the process and reach the highest number of TPS without instability.
"We are dedicated to realizing the complete potential of the BSV Blockchain through Teranode testing," says Siggi Óskarsson, Director of Teranode at the BSVA, a worldwide association for the industry.
It "has the potential to serve as the next-generation upgrade to a public blockchain that enables complete enterprise and governmental adoption, thanks to its unparalleled scalability, stability, and support for safe and instantaneous transactions."

Craig Wright, an Australian computer scientist, was a driving force behind the 2008 creation of Bitcoin. He envisioned an infinite scale and high transaction throughput.
Wright stated at the time that "the current Visa credit card network processes about 15 million internet purchases per day worldwide."
With current hardware, Bitcoin can already scale greater than that for a much lower price. It never reaches a limit on the scale.
However, even the most advanced blockchains have only been able to provide consistent service up to TPS values in the tens of thousands thus far, which has limited the application of blockchain technology to industries with lower transaction volumes, such identity and medical data management.
Additionally, the high cost of transactions has kept government and commercial users from adopting blockchain technology more widely.
According to the BSVA, Teranode will fulfill Wright's prediction and allow for a massive volume of transactions on the original Bitcoin system, now known as the BSV Blockchain.
Increasing the number of transactions
According to the BSVA, its BSV network will be able to sustain "never-before-seen" transaction volumes on a stable basis, which are at least ten times higher than the combined transaction volumes of the Visa and Mastercard networks.
Apart from monetary exchanges, Teranode is supposed to make it possible for the BSV Blockchain to handle enormous volumes of data, supporting broadcast services and data indexing to provide a more private and ownership-based online experience.
More protection for personal information, creative works, and intellectual property rights is also brought about via timestamp verification.
Furthermore, Teranode can guarantee that AI applications function correctly with information that can be independently verified and audited, all the while integrating with Web3 and the IPv6 upgrade with ease.
Teranode testing
Over the course of two to six months, Teranode will be tested on a globally dispersed cluster of two and three nodes located in North America, Europe, and Asia.
Aerospike, a well-known pioneer in the real-time, high-performance NoSQL database market, has teamed with BSVA to deliver the test by utilizing its highly capable read and write technologies.
