As part of its expansion, UK-based fintech consultant Alpha Group plans to relocate its listing to the principal market of the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

Since 2017, the company, formerly known as Alpha FX, has been listed on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange. It has submitted an application to trade its shares on the LSE's main market and to be admitted to the premium listing category.

Smaller firms thrive on the AIM platform because of its liberal regulations, which include a minimum-free float. Although the main market of the LSE has more stringent standards, particularly concerning revenue, it does offer access to a larger pool of investors and cash.

Alpha Group said, "Our business is expanding, going global, and attracting interest from larger and larger clients." "As we expand into other nations and work with larger clients, we think that having a Main Market Premium listing would help to further build our name and promote our market penetration.

"Premium Listing standards will also be in line with Alpha's objective to offer enhanced levels of governance and transparency, which we are confident will continue to be well-liked by our investors, banking partners, and clients alike."

If Alpha's application is accepted, the listing ought to go live in early May.
