Simon McNamara becomes a Ziglu board member

Simon McNamara has been appointed to the board of directors of Ziglu, the top platform for digital assets, personal investments, and banking in the UK, the company stated today.

With over 30 years of expertise in the global financial services sector, McNamara has held senior leadership positions at prestigious companies like Standard Chartered Bank and RBS Group.

Mark Hipperson, the founder and chairman of Ziglu, said, "I am thrilled to welcome Simon to the Ziglu Board." "His deep understanding of technology, proven track record in leading digital transformation, and extensive experience in the financial services industry will be invaluable as we move to the next level of growth through innovation."

The most recent role McNamara held was that of Director and Chief Administrative Officer at NatWest Group, where he oversaw the company's technological and service development. In addition, he has held top roles in operations and IT at Midland Bank, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, and Westpac Banking Corporation. He also co-founded CATS INC, a prosperous software start-up in Silicon Valley.
