With effect from June 3rd, Saxo UK, a division of Danish multi-asset trading and investment company Saxo, has named Andrew Bresler as its new CEO.

Bresler brings "a deep understanding of our industry, products, platforms, and clients" to the role, according to Saxo's chief commercial officer Stig Christensen, who expresses his "great confidence in the future success for our UK business, where we have ambitious growth plans."

Bresler was a part of Saxo's APAC executive team before succeeding temporary CEO Simon Camilleri. From 2016 until 2018, he was the company's deputy head of sales trading at its Singaporean branch.

Bresler stayed in Singapore after leaving Saxo to work as the regional head of digital investments, portfolio finance, and brokerage for Citibank in APAC and EMEA.

He most recently worked for US-based InvestCloud, a worldwide wealth and asset management solutions provider, where he rose through the ranks to become the deputy general manager of the APAC division and chief revenue officer.

Saxo Group was established in 1992 and states that more than 120 financial institutions use its investment solutions. It also claims to manage over $100 billion in customer funds. Since 2006, its Saxo UK subsidiary has been based in London.
