With the help of dejamobile, one of the biggest banks in the Netherlands and a provider of comprehensive financial services, Rabobank is now able to allow its clients to use compatible iPhones and Android smartphones to make contactless payments.

Merchants can now accept contactless payments straight from their smartphones thanks to Rabobank's Rabo SmartPin app for iOS and Android, which is integrated with dejamobile's white-label SoftPOS solution, ReadyToTapTM Payment for Merchants. Rabobank's acquisition services are now available to SMEs and merchants who need a highly mobile and flexible payment acceptance solution thanks to the new contactless payment feature of the Rabo SmartPin app.

To take contactless payments, merchants should only download the Rabo SmartPin app to their smartphone, activate the Tap to Pay service on Android or iPhone through Rabobank's merchant dashboard, and get started. By enhancing Rabobank's current mPOS offering, Tap to Pay eliminates the need for a separate mobile PIN device. The Rabo SmartPin app can now be used as a comprehensive cash register solution thanks to the addition of the Tap to Pay feature. Merchants can use the app to track their stock, establish a product catalogue, link multiple users, and even register cash payments.

"We are making Rabo SmartPin even more accessible for entrepreneurs with this introduction," stated Nico Strauss, Tribe Lead B2B Services at Rabobank. The Rabo SmartPin software and a smartphone are all they need to take payments. This facilitates company dealings and aids clients in monitoring sales and transactions.

Dejamobile's decision to assist Rabobank in implementing their Tap to Pay solution makes them happy. "Working with dejamobile has been a pleasure," said Christa Braker, product manager. We have high standards when it comes to providing payment services because we are one of the biggest banks in The Netherlands. Dejamobile exceeded all of our expectations.

Houssem Assadi, CEO of dejamobile, expressed gratitude for the partnership as well: "We are thrilled to be collaborating with Rabobank's team in the Netherlands to implement Tap to Pay, which offers merchants a versatile, user-friendly, and affordable way to accept contactless payments using just their smartphone.

With the use of Android and iPhone technologies, Rabobank is able to provide Tap to Pay to all of its merchants via the Rabo SmartPin app.
