Palo Alto Networks and IBM Partner to Combat Cyber Threats

Palo Alto Networks and IBM have joined forces to offer AI-driven security solutions, with the goal of tackling the growing cybersecurity issues brought on by the growing business IT scene.

Leading the way in cybersecurity globally, Palo Alto Networks is known for providing cutting-edge security solutions that shield businesses from online dangers and intrusions.

 

In the meanwhile, IBM is a top supplier of AI and hybrid cloud solutions. In addition, it provides a broad variety of corporate solutions, consulting services, and technology services to assist companies in navigating digital transformation and strengthening their security posture.

 

Through the deal, Palo Alto Networks will further enhance its Cortex XSIAM platform with cutting-edge AI-powered threat prevention capabilities by purchasing IBM's QRadar SaaS assets, including intellectual property rights. In order to facilitate a seamless transition for customers relocating, IBM will engage with Palo Alto Networks and continue to serve QRadar clients that are located on-premises.

The strategic importance of the collaboration was emphasized by IBM Chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna, who also highlighted the advantages of IBM Consulting services in addition to sophisticated threat prevention and automation enabled by Cortex XSIAM and Watsonx.

 

With intentions to create a unified Security Operations Center and Cyber Range to improve security capabilities and client experiences, IBM Consulting will be Palo Alto Networks' preferred Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP).
