Kurt Adams, an industry veteran, has been appointed CEO of IPC, a US-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) trade communications platform. Bob Santella, who held the position for six years, is leaving the position.

Adams joins IPC with more than 25 years of leadership experience in the fintech industry. His most recent positions were as CEO of Fleetcor Technologies, where he also served as group president, and CEO of Optum Financial's corporate payments division.

The newly appointed CEO had a number of executive positions at companies like Elavon Financial Services, ABN Amro, Piper Sandler, and US Bank before this.

IPC has also announced the appointment of two additional board members in addition to Adams. These include Michael Chin, the current CEO of London-based fintech company Duco, being appointed as an IPC board member and Stuart Harvey, the former CEO of Elavon Global Acquiring, as chairman of the board of directors, both of which take effect immediately.

Only four months have passed since Strategic Value Partners (SVP), a multinational alternative investment group, fully assumed ownership of IPC.

The managing director of SVP, Jonathan Waggoner, commented on the change in leadership, saying that "this is an opportune time for Bob to pass the torch to Kurt, who is well suited to lead IPC through its next stage of growth." SVP has become the only owner of IPC.
