Erste clients may now be protected against travel interruptions caused by delayed departures with this cutting-edge insurance solution. The service, which is powered by top InsurTech Companjon, tracks the flight's condition automatically and, when the delay exceeds one hour, initiates a claim for HUF 16,000 compensation, which is promptly transferred to the customer's account.

For Erste consumers, the insurance process is fully automated. When a flight is delayed by an hour on the day of departure, Companjon automatically authorizes a claim for HUF 16,000 compensation. Companjon monitors the flight in real-time. There are no limitations on the customer's ability to use the reward; it is instantly paid to their account.

For HUF 1,999 per ticket per flight, Erste Flight Delay Insurance is available 180 days to 7 days prior to the scheduled departure of the trip. For the same price per passenger and ticket, customers can extend this insurance to up to three more travel companions on the same journey.
