The total value locked in defi procedures reached $101.3 billion, surpassing $100 billion for the first time in almost two years.
$32.6 billion, or 32.2% of the total, was made up of lending; the remaining amounts were made up of decentralised exchanges ($19.97 billion, or 19.7%), collateralized debt positions ($12.22 billion, or 12%), and restaking activities ($10.06 billion, or 9.9%).
According to DefiLlama, the last time defi TVL surpassed $100 billion was on May 11, 2022, when it reached $112.67 billion.
Meanwhile, more than 31.5 million Ether—worth around $115 billion and making up 26% of the entire amount of Ether—have been staked on the Ethereum network.
