A major turning point in the firm's growth trajectory and a further testament to its dedication to the fintech community was reached today with the announcement of the introduction of an Investment Banking strategy by CRB Group, Inc., the parent company of Cross River Bank and CRB Securities, LLC ("CRBS").

By offering advice on their most important choices, such as mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and other corporate finance issues, the firm will help its customers achieve their strategic goals.

Co-Heads of Investment Banking Benjamin Samuels and Henry Pinnell, both seasoned professionals in the field, will oversee the Investment Banking group inside CRB Securities, LLC.

Gilles Gade, the founder and CEO of Cross River, stated, "We are proud to launch our investment banking division of our broker dealer with two well-respected professionals in the industry, combining decades of experience in both the fintech industry and capital markets." "Ben and Henry are responsible for improving our product offering to our fintech partners and other partners even more, so that we can meet the unique needs of each and every client."

The Investment Banking team at Cross River is dedicated to fostering innovation in the financial services industry. They will use their vast experience, connections, and knowledge in the banking industry to offer their fintech clients an all-inclusive range of services. As of right now, CRB Securities, LLC has mostly concentrated on helping customers with asset-backed securities and other privately placed credit transactions. The choice to enter the investment banking space was made in response to the growing need for innovative fintech solutions and our dedication to meeting the strategic requirements of each and every one of our clients.

Benjamin Samuels leaves Morgan Stanley, where he most recently served as the Global Capital Markets group's Co-Head of Alternative Capital Solutions, to join as Co-Head of Investment Banking. In this capacity, he oversaw the company's global PIPE, SPAC, and equity private placement operations. Having previously held a variety of positions in the Capital Advisory and Financial Institutions Group at Cowen, Evercore, and Stephens, where he provided advice on complex strategic transactions, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions, Benjamin has over ten years of expertise.

From SVB Securities, where he was a Senior Managing Director and spearheaded the Fintech Investment Banking initiative, Henry Pinnell has joined as Co-Head of Investment Banking. He has over 15 years of experience in investment banking, specializing in fintech and financial services. He has advised on landmark deals for prominent companies in the industry and has helped founders and investors in the fintech space. He has also created, planned, and carried out numerous financing and strategic transactions in both public and private markets.

Henry oversaw the company's Emerging Fintech franchise while serving as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of Barclays Bank PLC before to joining SVB.

Henry Pinnell expressed his excitement at the chance to provide the fintech community with a unique set of solutions and unique insights derived from his company's unique position inside the fintech ecosystem. "The team is eager to grow with the industry over the next few months as we have already gotten off to a great start."

Benjamin Samuels stated, "I have always seen Cross River as the core driving the fintech ecosystem, providing innovative solutions and adapting to the needs of the market." "I'm thrilled to use that creativity to provide investment banking solutions so we can support our clients with their most significant transactions and decisions while also delivering the brand."
