Since the launch of its collaboration with Back industry, a prominent marketplace for reconditioned devices, International InsurTech bolttech has established a strong foothold in the Japanese industry.

Bolttech's position in the Japanese market will be strengthened by the partnership, which will protect embedded devices for Back Market's clients there.

The collaboratively developed service, "Back Up," will provide all-inclusive protection solutions that address a range of risks, including liquid damage, corrosion, and breakage.

It guarantees a better user experience for Back Market's Japanese clients by providing free data recovery for broken phones and specialized repair.

This program emphasizes a dedication to sustainability and prolonging the life of electronic equipment, which is in line with the growing interest in reconditioned cellphones in the Asia Pacific area.

"We set up a dedicated local team in Japan last year when we noticed a growing interest in refurbished smartphones in Asia Pacific, with customers keen to explore the benefits of the circular economy and creative ways to extend the lifespan of their devices," stated Thibaud Hug de Larauze, Chief Executive Officer of Back Market. We can't wait to strengthen our collaboration and commemorate "Back Up"'s debut in Japan with bolttech. With this, we intend to provide customers with even more assurance that their gadgets will be further safeguarded against harm.

"As one of the leading insurance markets in the world, it's exciting to see a growth in demand for insurtech solutions as customers in Japan seek more ways to protect the things they value," said Philip Weiner, Chief Commercial Officer, Bolttech, Asia and Europe. Bolttech values its partnership with Back Market, so we're excited to commemorate this launch milestone alongside them.
