John Tuttle, a vice chairman of the next York Stock Exchange (NYSE), will become the next president of US insurance and business solutions fintech Acrisure on September 1, 2024.
Based out of Acrisure's Grand Rapids, Michigan headquarters, Tuttle will answer to Greg Williams, co-founder, chairman, and CEO.
According to Acrisure, the firm is undergoing a broader push for "innovation-driven transformation," and the new president will play a key role in defining "a modern approach to client service in financial services and insurance."
Williams says, "John's work in both the public and private sectors positions him as a strong advocate for our company and clients as we continue to transform and grow. His experience in the global arena will complement our entrepreneurial team."
Tuttle has worked for the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and its parent company, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), for the past 17 years, serving in a number of executive capacities.
Among them are the managing director of government relations and global affairs, the head of corporate affairs, the global head of listings, the COO, the CCO, and, as of July 2022, the vice chairman of the NYSE and president of the NYSE Institute, the market advocacy platform.
Tuttle was involved "in nearly every line of business" at the NYSE during his tenure, according to Acrisure, including capital markets, exchange-traded products, IPO listings, issuer relationship management, and stock offerings.
Acrisure was established in 2005 and focuses on providing tailored solutions in the areas of insurance, reinsurance, payroll, benefits, cybersecurity, and mortgage services. It presently claims about $5 billion in annual sales and employs about 17,000 people across 21 countries.
