$475 million in cash is included in the deal, which has a maximum value of $2.1 billion. The cash amount is subject to the private equity companies meeting certain return rates from future liquidity events. Through this acquisition, the Software Integrity Group will be able to continue operating as a stand-alone provider of application security testing software, with an emphasis on growing its presence in the rapidly developing software security industry.
