The worldwide payments network and shopping assistant, Klarna, driven by AI, today announced the US market extension of its relationship with Expedia Group. Millions of travelers may now book flights and accommodations using Klarna's flexible payment options, including the well-liked interest-free Pay Now or Pay in 4 options available on Expedia.com/Klarna and Hotels.com/Klarna.

The successful launches of Klarna in the UK, Germany, Sweden, and Finland are being followed by its rollout to the largest market in the Expedia Group.

Head of Klarna's North American operations, Erin Jaeger: "We are thrilled to collaborate with Expedia Group to offer more adaptable payment options that meet the changing demands of contemporary travelers. Not only is travel now more affordable for US customers thanks to Klarna's Pay Now or Pay Later options, but our easy payment process also improves the booking experience. Travelers looking for adventure and budget can benefit from it.

"We're excited to grow our partnership with Klarna and provide travelers more freedom to plan the vacation of their dreams. This partnership demonstrates our commitment to using cutting-edge technologies to advance and enhance the traveler experience and empower our partners to provide their clients with outstanding experiences. stated Clayton Nelson, the Expedia Group's vice president of strategic partnerships and affiliates.

According to Statista, the US travel and tourism industry is projected to produce close to $200 billion by 2024. This collaboration is essential as the travel sector recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic and customers want greater flexibility and value when it comes to trip planning.

Expedia Group, which has 37 million Klarna customers in the US, is the newest affiliate to join the expanding travel network of the business.
