Gary Paulin has been named to the newly created position of Head of International Enterprise Client Solutions by Northern Trust (NASDAQ: NTRS).
In addition to fostering synergies and easing access to the bank's asset servicing and asset management solutions, Paulin will concentrate on fortifying ties with important Northern Trust clients at the highest levels of their organizations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
"Our clients deal with a variety of issues, such as reporting, performance, and cost. In order to solve this, we established this position in which the president of asset servicing, Pete Cherecwich, will work closely with the chief investment officers of asset owners and asset managers to better understand their overall needs and develop strategic solutions that make use of Northern Trust's entire array of services and expertise. "In this capacity, Gary will effectively integrate our companies and offer Northern Trust's full range of solutions and competencies to some of the most advanced investment organizations globally."
Asset Management President Daniel Gamba stated, "Gary is well-positioned to identify opportunities to utilize our full range of solutions to help clients meet their unique challenges." Gary has a 25-year background in senior-level investment research, business creation, asset management, capital markets, and asset servicing roles. "This position will strengthen our unique focus on collaborating with clients to optimize their operating models and utilizing our dynamic global asset servicing and management capabilities," the statement reads.
Paulin will remain headquartered in London and report to both Cherecwich and Gamba. Most recently, Paulin held the position of Head of Global Strategic Solutions for Asset Servicing.
